I got a road rage alarm from ebay, and nothing works when. The alarm turns, and when i taped the door triggers (+,-) into the dome light wires and open the door, the alarm wont go off. Also when i plug in the ignition trigger into the cigeratte lighter wire and turn the key, the alarm wont go off. Does anyone know what can be wrong??? My brother told me that all the wires have to be attached before i plug the harness into the brain, is this rite?

Why would you " plug in the ignition trigger into the cigeratte lighter wire "??
That would Disable your Alarm................
You probably need to READ your Installation Instructions CAREFULLY and get a TECH sheet on your car FIRST..........
Mark the wires you will need on the Tech Sheet or Unit .........
Ask questions ................
Then Install

cuz the cigerrette lighter turns on when they key is on the 1 position, and thats what the ignition trigger is for, it sets off the alarm when som1 tries to turn on/ start the car. If i look stupid doin it, i dont kno n e other place to put it.

RED = White at Ignition Switch
BLACK = GROUND
YELLOW = Black / Red at Ignition Switch
WHITE = Red / Blue at Light Switch
BROWN = Siren
GREEN = Red / White at Driver Kick Panel
BLUE = Gray / Red UNLOCK at Door Lock Control Unit Behind Driver Dash ( small set of wires )
GREEN = Gray / Blue LOCK at Door Lock Control Unit Behind Driver Dash ( small set of wires )

Hook up these wires and ( if you haven't fried it ) it should work.
The rest of the AL-400 wires can be hooked up later
