This is lame! I just got back from Car Toys and they want to charge me $80 to install my car alarm. This is perfectly fine!..... If you are installing a car alarm with all the extras. I have an 83" Camaro without powerlocks or power windows. I just want to get a car alarm installed into my car and will offer you money if you live in the Portland, Hillsboro, Aloha, Beaverton, Tigard area and want to install a car alarm in my car. I am currently looking for a car alarm on E-Bay or elsewhere. I am looking right now at a Python 460HP. Anyhelp would be greatly welcome and your time would be compensated. Dude don't like the price do it yourself. All you would need power, door trigger, grounds, siren. Then put the shock sensor on a peace of metal or a stiff harness.

That's the thing, my car electronics knowledge stops at car stereo, security is a blind subject to me. Hey, the offer is still up, if someone wants some extra cash in the Portland area, I'm all for it! As for doing it myself, I am willing to learn, but don't have a lot of time since I am hooking up my new stereo this week.

Well i know i would charge about the same but for that its a good place to start. I gues you can use t-tabs, but sodder is always best. You can get a schematic from people here. Meter is good to test it. If you are careful and know about ohms law you should be fine. The worst you would do is blow a fuse.
