What are the fuses on the alarm for?
I have a fuse for the keyless entry on the alarm and also have a fuse on the main power source on the alarm.
and if something is connected wrong will the car's cpu go bad?

Fuses are to protect the wiring and the things behind it. The fuses on the parking lights protect against shorting them to destroy the brain, on the power wire it protects from surges. If its connected wrong on a new one probally you are screwed but more likley a fuse will blow to protect the car's CPU

You mean the fuses on the keyless not the parking light will protect the alarm brain.
