i recently bought a compustar 2wss-as, and will be installing it in my 90 integra this week. before i start i have a few questions. first of all i will be using a 7ah battery for back up and plan to either get an isolator, or small diode and relay to disconnect it when the ignition is off. now which 12+ lead would i wire it into as there are 2 going into the alarm (acc/starter, and ingnition/ecu i think)? secondly i got a dei proximity sensor to put in and i kno i should place it near the center of the car, but will it make a diff if it is conceiled or not? Thirdly i am not going to be using the remote start at this time, and i wasnt sure if the brajes and some of the other leads are needed for operation, or just remote start? any help will be appreciated.

sorry for the bad grammer; i was kind of in a hurry. to shorten it up, which 12+ input on alarm would i put my backup battery on, and does a proximity sensor need to be in the open to work right or can i conceil it?

well i got the answers for the above, but i do still have a quick question. i am not going to be using remote start, and did not plan to from the start, the shop i bought it from sold me a 2wss-as as that was the only one they had in stock, but assured me i wouldnt have a problem omitting using the remote start. i havent really found a clear answer anywhere else, but i will be finishing up the install tomarrow and want to make sure. is this true?
