I have a passlock 2 bypass module (IPPME) hooked up in my 2002 siverado 2500HD.  The module has a second ignition output so do I need to hook up the output from the alarm also?  Additionally I have hooked up the ACC wire from the alarm to the orange (AC/heat) wire in the truck.  Is this enough to power it in remote start or do I need a relay?

No need to hook up the alarm second ignition. You should always use a relay if in doubt. This will be trouble free in the future and you won't have to worry about the unit getting fired if there is too much current draw on a wire. It only takes one time and the unit will be fired, so better safe than sorry.
