ok i see in the wire codes that he factory alarm can only be armed and sisared with factory remote , so inorder to avoid using 2 remotes for a new alarm does that mean you can just disarm the factory alarm and then put the keyfob away and it wont rearm itsself with the new installed alam system , i dont want any false triggering of the new or factory alarm.. please let me knowo how you guys deal with this
thanks for the help

you then set the car, through the Driver INfo Center, to RKE only, this way there's no chance of the factory arming.

Are you having problems or are you worrying about possible situations? Have you installed the alarm yet? If it is arm through remote only then it will never turn on and there will be no problem.

no im going to install one and i just want to figure out all the details now then later, i always like to plan out my installs all the way throught before i do them so i know what to expect and what problems i might run into.. so aslong as the factory remote doesnt arm the system ill be fine then it wont ever go off right????
thanks
