Im having problems with my alarm I installed the max e on a 97 crown victoria the problem that im having is the alarm keeps going off by its self....sometimes it doesn't....I unpluged the sensor and it still went off after seating for a while.... Is there anything else that could be triggering the alarm ?

How's the grounding on the alarm ? Check the grounding points. Use a different ground with a star washer so it bites sheet metal and makes good contact..

Check your dome supervision wire. If it is the same wire as the door trigger, it might interfere with the alarm and cause false positives. Put a relay and isolate the dome supervision wire and install a diode on the door trigger.

These are suggestions. Someone who worked on this car might have more to contribute..Unfortunately, I have not worked on it..

I had sliced the ground into the ground in the electrical harness....so I guess I'll try to hook it to a ground spot. Thanx for the help...I'll let yall know if it worked

check your hood pin, and double check for your door triggers as well, i installed a k9 classic, same thing with the exeption of the rs, it turned out to be a bad brain though.

I used the smart trigger where u connect the trigger to the door pin switch which is hooked to the domelight...but for some reason the dome light supervision only works for a while then I have to push the light knob for the dome for it to come back on when I hit the unlock but... I have the + hooked to the fuse panel...What other place could I put this wire

the 3 chirps are telling you your alarm was triggered. no sensor plugged in and still goes off might be a pin switch grounding. i woul suggest starting from scratch and rewire you alarm. wher did you get the omega at?

i just did a k9 classic e on a malibu, used the domelight set up and i also had to hook up the green wire for the door triggers, negative, because some times it wouldnt detect them. make sure if you use both the domelight and tigger wire to delete the jumper on the brain.the jumper is used to set up  the built in relay for either positive or negative domelight set ups. check your jumper first see if this helps.

well the drivers door and the 3 other doors are on seperate wires...but for some reason the trigger to the drivers door doesn't light up the domelight...so I just hooked the other doors to the alarm...I think I had the smart trigger port connected and that was causing a false alarm

I am having an issue with my Omega Max remote start/car alarm. I really hope you huys can help.

I recently programmed the echo 2 transciever to the unit following the steps in the instruction manual. The Echo 2 did not work properly because there is something that plugs into the omega unit for the echo 2 to work correctly, which I did not have. I then reprogrammed the original transmitter back to the omega max and since then, my remote start does not work. I can activate the remote start via transciever, the engine will crank run for 3 seconds, then engine kills, and the omega will restsart the engine allowing this process to continue until I terminate the remote start via transceiver. why is it doing this ?? if you need more information please let me know

Thanks

sounds like you have more than one ignition or accessories wire...my crown vic was doing the samething into I found the second ignition wire and ran a relay from the satellite ports
