Hi, I installed an 2 way alarm recently and i wanted to add pwer locks to the car also, i got bunch of diagrams off the net and bought 2 relays from Canadian Tire. $5.95 each.  i tried few diagrams but nothing was working, i tested the acutators and they do work. the output from the alarm is -

anyone got suggestions? maybe these are cheap realays? i tried so many diagrams and nothing.

Please help

i do have them..  anyone got a diagram for - input that they KNOW 100% that works

where can i get these relays from and how much are they, i bought some from canadain tire and they where like 5$ and they didnt work,

Look at the pins on the bottom of the 2 relays you have and see if they match the diagram that Jeff gave you. If they have 5 pins then I don't see why they wouldn't work. You most likely didn't have them wired correctly. You can quickly check to make sure they are good relays by touching a 9-volt battery across pins 85 and 86. If they click then they work. Wire them up just like the diagram. Don't forget to fuse the +12v input to the relays. To test the actuators once you have them hooked up just touch the negative input to chassis ground. One wire should lock and the other should unlock the actuator.

Make sure they are 5 pin and not 4 pin . The model number your looking for is SPDT 30/40 amp Bosch type relays.

Is it 2 relays per actuator or 1 relay per actuator? That diagram makes it seem like I need 2 relays per actuator.
