What is the best way to install Aftermarket Power Door Locks on 2005 Chev. Cobalt 4 Door??
I was told they are Cable type.  Is there a specific way to install Actuators?
THANKS

havent done a cobalt yet but i would imagine if your car doesnt have any actuators, pulling a cable manually doesnt make much sense. take off a panel and check it out. if youve done actuators in the past, or understand how they work, you should be able to see if you could mount them. all the actuator does is pull and push the locking rod.

There is a ton of room behind the door panel.....mount the actuator vertically, under the lock pull that sticks out the door panel. Make sure it pulls straight with the lock rod....it'll kink up and bind easily.
