i have an 04 dodge intrepid SE , it has power locks, but no remote to lock or unlock car,  i was told at the dealership, i could have remote lock/unlock installed for a little over a hundred bucks. my question is, if the car has power locks already, what do i need to do get remote lock/unlock ?

If the Dealer is offering Factory Keyless with 2 Remotes......Go for It.......
You might have someone run the V.I.N. number to see if it has Factory Keyless already.  Then you need the Remotes & programming

If it is aftermarket, .........shop first

Not to bad of install, but if U have never done one or have a friend not familiar with this type install, get it done right

The Dealer offered me the factory keyless Module for my Caravan the parts alone were $100 with 2 remotes and it should fit right into the wiring harness. I'd say if that's all you want go for it but get the full quote in writing first so you don't get nailed with extra install fees.
