Hello all!

I figured that you could help me out with a problem I am having with a 96 lexus es300. I have installed a CM3000 brain, everything works great, except remote start. I have programmed the brain to unlock, start, then lock to bypass the factory system. There is no transponder chip in the key, so no need for bypass.

Here is the problem. When I try to rem start, the dash lights up, and the seat belt bell rings, then it clicks a few times, then shuts down. This happens a total of 3 times, then it quits, and locks the doors.

It is a AT car, and I have a tach wire hooked up coming from the engine bay. It has learned the tach wire successfully.

Any ideas??

Brad

Have you tested the ignition wire, starter wire, accessory wire and that you have connected them correctly to the vehicle's main harness? Have a look there.

Your starter disable wire is not wired correctly. Probably backwards. YELLOW wire goes to the motor side and YELLOW/BLACK goes to the switch side. Make sure of this and post your results.
