Hello,

I'm just finishing up shaving my locks and handles, and I installed door solenoids and poppers in my car.  In my alarm schematics it shows how to install the alarm with door lock/unlock soleniods, so I was just going to use the same wiring.  My question is, it says the wires on the alarm are a negative trigger, so would I hook up the ground to the negative trigger, and the positive to a constant power source for my car?

Yeah, my schematics came with a setup with relays.  Could someone answer the question for me please?

NM, i figured it out.  I adapted the door lock wiring to just have the unlock to the solenoids.

so does this mean every time you disarm the car both doors pop open???? It may be nice to have the drivers door on the pop with disarm and the passgener door pop with say and aux output. or disarm and one door per aux out?

I use AUX channel 1 for driver's side and AUX channel 2 for the passengerside on the last car that had shaved door handles. The only bad thing about that is that you still have to arm and disarm before and after you open/close the doors.

everyone that installs door poppers (that ive read about) asks the same question. would it be possible to add the selonoids in a drivers door priority configuration using only the lock unlock buttons of the alarm and not use up the other aux channels.on my alarm(k9 classic) it shows how to do the drivers door priority set up, unlock the door hit the unlock again within 5 seconds and unlock the pass. door. is there a wiring diagram on doing this with the selonoids?
