Subject: replace 457G with what module?

I just finished installation of 564T and 457G on a 2005 Envoy. RS works fine. Unlock works ocassionally and lock doesn't work at all. I understand that the 457G has compatibility issues in Trailblazers/Envoys without factory keyless.

My questions are:
- Is it a 455G that I now require?
- Do I leave the 457G installed to carry out the imobilizer function?
- If I simply connect up the lock/unlock (plus data and feed) function of the new module, do I disconnect these wires (blue & green) from the 457G?
- Or do I leave the 457G as installed and diode isolate with the lock/unlock wires of the new module?

Thanks for your help

I use OMEGA  #DB-GMDLBP GM Doorlock Alarm & Transponder/Passlock Interface or Multi Vehicle Databus Doorlock Alarm Interface #DB-DLMT, because of issues with 457G.  I have found that the 455G works, but both have had problems

The 455G is a good, solid piece that works. Of course, you should also toss a 555L in there, and pull the 457G.

I so far, haven't been very freeking impressed by the 457G. I have had problems with every one that I have put in, and curse them almost weekly. 456 and 455G worked.... didn't forget everything they knew.
