My alarm module has an onboard relay for the starter disable. The instructions state to cut the starter wire (RED / lt. blue- '88 Ford Ranger) to add this relay to the circuit. However, there are two RED / light blue wires at the ignition switch. Does it matter which one I cut? Are they both part of the same circuit?

Thanks in advance.

Double check that other wire..............
Also, use a Meter to check your Starter wire before you cut.......
