Thanks for responding, MO

I double-checked and there are indeed two RED / Light Blue starter wires. When the key is turned to "Start", they each read 12V. In fact, they are both crimped into the same connector at the ignition switch. I'm assuming I need to put the starter disable relay between both wires, but seeing as how the alarm works fine up to this point, I will wait to hear back from someone before I risk frying it.

if it says it has 2 starter wires then the best thing to do is to add a relay to both if they are seoperate if the meet at a visible point then 1 is enough
