Hi, Ok here is the deal. We installed an ebay special , it was a Radiostar/Carvox Everything worked fine but there is no info in the manual to program a tach. So when the car starts it grinds the engine. Try putting the tach wire with the ignition wire underneath the harness.

It can do the following : Multiple signal detection for remote start - Tach, High-Voltage & Oil sensor. Try the voltage sense instead if you can't program the tach. ------------- Jeff

WTH is oil sensing ? heh. i've been doing remote starts for a few years now.. and i've never heard of a dei, code, or even an autopage with "oil sensing" i can just see quality ooozing from this unit

I have this same system and had a but load of a problem with my Durango. Jeff helped me out a bunch and now it works great. I'm going to try it again in a Nissan pathfinder. Hope it goes smoother, but your right about the manual. it sucks. I have also been unsucsessful getting help from the ebay dealer.
