I was thinking of installing remote start on my girls car. I have hooked up car audio for years and am some knowledge on car's electrical system. Here is what I am not sure how to bypass. To start the car you have to have the key that has a chip inside to work. How would you bypass that or maybe I should just take it to a professional to install.

None of my notes say that there is an Immobilizer in this year Altima. Get a regular key blank made ( about $ 1.00 ) and try to start the car. If it starts then no Immobilizer. If it cranks and no start then you have an immobilizer and will require a bypass module.
