i'm a complete stranger to alarm installs. i've installed many sound systems though, so i have a basic understanding of 12 volt neg ground systems.
I bought a truck that had an alarm in it that i had to remove to get the truck running again (long story) because the dealer didn't have the remotes to disarm the system. It's been almost a year and i have no memory as to what wires went where. I own a 99 Chevy S10 Xtreme. No PW or PL. My alarm is an Omega C-4SRS. It didn't use the remote start feature before, but i would like to use it now. I bought a Pass2 bypass module for this. Now all i need is a complete instructions on the install of this alarm. Omega website requires me to be a dealer, and my car audio dealer here won't release that info to me (liability stuff). I'm confident enough with wiring that if i screw something up, i'm not going to blame someone else for my carelessness. Please help, it's cold here and i would like to RS my truck from bed :-)

Pay someone to hook it up. It is a totally different puppy than a sound system. I would not recommend you install it yourself. You can cause way too much damage just to save a buck. My opinion. DanDan

money is kinda of an issue right now, and i understand it's a different 'puppy', that's why i asked. besides the so called install-techs around here aren't confident enough to find there butts if they used both hands and a mirror; so i'd rather do it myself. like everything else i've done to my trucks. besides, sound systems aren't the only thing i've done, i've had to completely rewire my 77 Chevy p/u, and switch out every wiring harnesses on my 92 Chevy S10 from the interior to the front (changed from a 4 cyl to a V6, which i did, BIG learning experience let me tell ya.)

Not at all...sorry. Don't deal with Omega, but I'm sure it's not that hard to work with.

All you have to do is match up the wire from the wire chart that I gave you to the ones that on on the list above in your last post.
