hey whats up guys? I'm installing a remote starter on my car and I wanted to ask a few questions, maybe someone knows, maybe not..

U got the 561T unit.

1)) WHITE/ RED (+) activation input -- is that the (+) from the door locks? i dont get it.

2)) RED / WHITE (-) 200mA channel 2 output -- isnt that already the lock/unlock of the factory remotes.

3)) YELLOW (-) ignition output -- that goes to the ignition obviously?

4)) WHITE/ blue (-) activation input -- do i use the positive or the negative activation input?

******* now as for the other wiring..
- PINK 200mA third ignition turn ON
- PURPLE (-) 200mA second starter turn ON
- ORANGE (-) 200mA accesory turn ON
- BLUE (-) 200mA status output

where do these go? I have no idea.

I really appreciate any help I get. have a good night guys.

white red and white blue is not used unless u are installing a alarm seprate the remote start....RED / white is for (example) trunk pop or whatever u want....yellow is used to trigger a alarm...and no it most diffently does go to the ignition (that could cause major problem if u hook it TO THE igntion).....and as for the other four color they are for seperate relays if needed.....depeands on the car

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

Hello, I'm installing the 561T with 555U in a 2002 nissan maxima. Ive found the wires and only slit two of them to make sure that they were it.

So now i had to move the car.. so i tape them back up and put everything back together and now the brake light is on and isn't going away? Is there a way to fix that, do i need to discount the battery terminal? or will it fix itself?

Has anyone installed a remote starter on an 02 maxima before? Im looking to hook up the unlock/lock wires for the remote start and was looking for something closer inside the cabin, other than taking the door off and going from there.

thanks a lot for your help guys, i really appreciate it.

Lock Motor gray    pin 54 at SECU

Unlock Motor WHITE/ black pin 55 at SECU (both 5 wire hookups)

The SECU (Smart Entrance Control Unit) is located to the passengers side of the steering column.

wow; I apologize for the discombobulated look of my last post; it didn't look like that when I entered it
