Passlock bypass on the Saturn ION The Saturn ION features a PASSLOCK circuit which differs from the traditional Passlock 1 & Passlock 2 circuits in most GM cars. There are 2 Passlock wires located at the ignition switch (White & WHITE/ black). Procedure: 1. Start the vehicle with the key. 2. Cut the WHITE wire and strip back both ends. 3. Use a Multi-Meter set for Ohms, and put one lead to the ECM side of the WHITE wire, and the other end connectto the WHITE/ BLACK (uncut wire). 4. Turn the key to the START position (vehicle will not crank), measure the resistance on your Meter. 5. Using a resistor to match you reading, wire in 2 relays as shown. NOTE: Though this can be done with 1 relay, doing so would cause the following problem: When the vehicle is put in‘Idle mode’ or "Continuous mode", such as is necessary for installation with Manual transmission models, the ‘THEFT’light will come on.

all they say is ignition harness , but they all say the 12volt is at a module under the dash not the orange wire at the harness.

I like to add these are real blast to drive. If you get a chance take one of these for a spin. Due to the smaller sterring wheel and redesinged stearing and suppension system it handles like a $60,000 sports car.

goto bypasskit.com and buy a pldata unit or any of the passlock bypasses. Saturns are very fussy on the passlock wiring and if you wire it with 2 relays you have the chance it locking up most of the time.

But as stated before it's passlock "like", and you can't even use a pldata on all cars with passlock 2, ex. malibu. Unless someone has used a data on these?
