I just bougt this alarm today from a local shop, it's a refurbished alarm.  Couple questions that I have

Is a refurb alarm from viper just as good as the new alarm?  It seemed to have come with everything that it needs to, but theres only 1 2way remote, is that ok?

Theres no owners manual or installation manual, i checked directed's web site but I dont see any of this to download, can anyone provide me these manuals?

The shop did give me an insatllation manual for a 591VX alarm, he said all the viper alarms have the same wiring, is this true?

REFURB...?????????..HHMMMMM
Doesn't sound REFURBed to me...............Shouldn't you get everything??

well theres a letter from directed saying refurbed doesnt come with any manuals nor NON essential items such as connectors and/or stickers
