I am trying to figure out how to connect the AUX channel for the trunk release.

94 Accord EX, do I need a RELAY?? The manual does not say use a relay it just says AUX channel for window mod or trunk release. Im so lost.

The unit is a Crime stopper 2011 RS.

Any ideas?

Yes, you need a relay. Does the Accord have a power trunk release button ? If so , then you will need to reverse the polarity on the AUX channel ( if it's a - trigger ) and attach it to the trunk release. Use the NEGATIVE------>POSITIVE OUTPUT diagram here: https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/install_notes/Converting_Outputs.jpg

If it's a lever pull type, then it's not power rather a manual pulling of the cable that opens the release meachanism. You will need to install a power trunk release solenoid on the cable at the lock mechanism on the trunk lid for this to work with the remote sontrol of the RS unit/alarm system. I know some Honda's have the OEM power trunk release button that is POWERED and you press the button and it pops the trunk, NO PULLING of a lever, just the button.
