Installing my first alarm/remote starter and have some question for you guys with more experience...

Question 1:

I have thoroughly searched already and cannot figure out where to connect the blue h1/6 wire off the primary harness to... Is this wire necessary? Vehicle is a 1997 Ford Explorer.

Question 2:

Also, the WHITE/ blue h1/3 wire has bewildered me as well. Is this used to disable to alarm when remote starting it taking place? Where should I connect this to?

Question 3:

I've got a few different wiring diagrams for my truck, and some claim the BLACK/ green wire at the ignition harness is second accessory, while others refer to it as second ignition... Anyone know which is correct from experience?

Thanks in advance.

1) H1/6 is a multiplexed input wire for the alrm, unless you are adding extra sensors you likely wont use it.

2) this is a negative activation input... again likely you wont need or use it... it is desinged to start the remote start feature when this wire sees a ground

3) test it with a meter, if it drops out during crank it's an acc, if not its an ign.
