Hello All,

Can anyone help me figure out the following things:

1. Where can I find a blank key fob with remote for a 1997 BMW 5 Series (except the dealer)?
2. How can I program the Key Fob Remote?

Thanks in Advance.

I'd start with Ebay.

unlock vehicle using remote control, enter vehicle and close drivers door, switch ignition on and off, press and hold unlock button, press lock button briefly 3 times within 10 seconds keeping unlock button pressed, release unlock button, led should flash slowly for 10 seconds this is only on some models, on some models central locking operates rapidly to indicate programming, repaet if central locking does not operate.

another system that you can do is turn ignition on and off, try this before the above procedure.

p.s if anyone would like factory key programm info let me know i will do my best to help you out.
