I have the Avantguard 4 installed and trying to reprogram my master remote. I try and go into the owner section of the programming and never get the audible chirps or correct programmers mode to get it working. Also when I put in a new battery in the remote the LED just flashes non stop. Anyone know anything about this alarm??? Need some help here please.

Omar,
Yes the LED does light up RED as in Valet, yet no audible chirps and Evolution-UK, I have both manuals the installers and the owners. Tried both directions. Just wondering if the brain is pooched or something. Frustrating not able to use the remote start on my car and winter coming is kinda needed. Keep the advice coming please.

sneakcyber,
How large is that software? I know its a nifty little program. I wish I had it. Also I think you use a serial port to hook up the brain on the alarm to your laptop correct? Let me know and if there is somewhere I could download that software as I had it a long while ago and never needed it. Thats the way it always is.
Thanks

Sounds like you have a bad remote and possibly a bad siren.

You think so Ronaldo? Could it be the siren as well? I sure hope that they back up their warranty then. Clifford that is. Will see if I can get them replaced. Thanks for the feedback. Hope your right.
