Hi,

I need a new antenna wire for my Viper 791xv as the original one was lost when the unit was switched between cars.

I have ordered one from a DEI retailer here in Australia however this was a couple of months ago and I am told the wire is still on back order from the U.S.

It cant take that long to make a simple wire and send it over and for the price I've paid I'm getting fed up with waiting.

Does anyone have one lying around that I could possibly buy or a dealer who could send one over for me?

Does anyone know why it is taking so long?

THEY ARE NOT CHEAP...i got a price on one for a customer here and my dealer cost was almost $100

Just for the wire?

The dealer here has charged me $46 Aus for 1 which is roughly $35 US.

Is it possible to make a loom and solder the wires to the terminals?

no i got a price on the antenna, not the antenna cable.....

Are there wires available in the U.S. at the moment or is there a shortage everywhere?

Would someone like to sell me a wire for this alarm?
