anyone know how to program a new transmitter to an old astroflex rs-123? its been about 5-6 yrs since i messed around with astros, seem to remember opening the hood to activate the hoodpin and then holding down on the footbrake.... something really easy like that to program a new remote to these units.

It goes like this. Open the hood, turn the ignition on, hit the brake, cycle the ignition 3 times (or until the parking lights start flashing) then press a button. exit programming by turning the ignition again. Also, i think that you can put switch 8 up and hit the brake to code. unless that one is too old.
