I am going to install a Viper 300 esp and a DEI  stand alone remote start together in my 05 cobalt. Does the remote start have to Disarm the alarm? If so, I didnt notice any - alarm disarm inputs on the 300 esp. And am I right that I dont need the install a starter kill relay on the alarm side because of the Passlock2? Help appreciated, Thanks, Josh

I use the OMEGA  #IB-PLXR  ByPASS..........
Ignition ON with ByPASS ON will Dis-Arm

yeah no start kill is needed on that car....and on the remote start the starter wires (purple and green) is not needed either.  U will have to wire a relay on the igntion input wire on the alarm off the blue status of the remote start to disconnect power on that wire or the alarm will sound.....also if the alarm has a external shock sensor then u will also have to wire a relay to disconnect power to it during remote start.

Where theres is a wire there's a way.
