i think it is due to the fact that the dome light stays on after the door is closed and the alarm is hooked up to the dome light not the door trigger. is there any way around this?

Sounds like you might have picked up a door trigger that reads off a delayed dome light. Check to make sure that you get a reading with the doors open and as soon as you close the door the wire reads nothing. Hope this helps.

also ive installed door actuators and tehy seem to not have enough power to lock and unlock the doors on this truck ive had them work on many other cars but for some reason they will not lock and unlock every time. im thinking about running some relays to add power to the actuators. are there any other solutions???? thanks robert

u MUST ALWAYS us relays when adding actuators aftermarket......how did u have them hooked up before? if u hooked them straight to the alarm brain, u are lucky that it worked....also, ur error message, what zone is it saying that it is triggering?

ok got thge actuators to work great with the relay suplyed with the alarm it was my owm fault for not useing the relay the first time. as for the error code i believe its comming from the actuators trigering the shock sensor when locking. but what its saying on the alarm is that the shock sensor has been detected.

it is either the door shutting causing the shock sensor....u can turn the shock sensor down if u want......

i would like to keep the sensitivity up if i can but in about a week or 2 i will be installing a proximity sensor so at that point i think i can turn the shock sensor down and see if that is my problem. thanks
