Use the starter IMO. Hate to see a relay malfunction on you while your driving with an ignition disable and then your in trouble.

AS velocity stated, Usually disabling a vehicles ignition system is not a good idea, Besides its ilegal to do so, If I remember correctly.

as for the igntion kill do you kill all the IGN wires or just igntion 1. i hate to have a relay go bad on the IGN kill.

I do autowatch alarm systems from south africa. as a insurance approved systems here in New Zealand, we are stricly adviced not to cut ignition circuit due to false ABS and Airbag light comes on sometimes when you switch your igniton on by key and when the vehicle sensers that one of the Ign wires is missing, it sometimes goes into Safe Mode. had many problems, Luckly Autowatch systems come with built-in 2 circuit cut immobilisers on board so we usually do Start and Fuel in petrol cars but only in diesel vehicles we do Ignition (cut wire behind fuse box) as Fuel wire is not partically found. But if you have a single immobiliser to do, then automatic vehicles, I recommend starter cut and in manual vehicles, do Fuel. We do heaps of japanesh vehicles which also cover Hondas as well. any problems, look me up Hope this helps ------------- I'll be back, so nobody go no where

No, you will need ignition and then the starter has to crank in order to start the car. It's a bit more than that, but I am sure you get the idea. ------------- Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.
