I am installing a remote start and need to disable the factory alarm when unlocking the vehicle with the new alarm's remote. It has a specific wire coming out of the new alarm brain for disabling the alarm, but needs to hook into something... you guys have any ideas which wire I could hook to in the 98 Rav4

Those rigs in that year.....armed with lock/disarmed with unlock. Thats if you found one with factory security....wich is very hard to do. None of the tech support I have shows any info about disarming factory security. Most DO NOT have it. Have you had the rig apart yet, does it appear to be all factory under the dash?
