I am looking into having a compustar 2w900fmr installed in my car and i just wanted to know if anyone knew where i could find a more detailed manual than what is on their website. I just wanted to know more about the programming functions, like what can be programmed and things like how long the siren will run for and what is passive arming?
This is the first time i have ever delt with a remote starter and alarm, so i can not install it on my own so is there anything i should make sure i tell the installer or watch out for? Also any comments on the 2W900FMR would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Also where do the shock sensor and antenna get monted. I know that it is a large antenna, can it go any were other than the winshield. I would like to be able to adjust the sensor.
The Compustar unit that your asking about is a very good and reliable unit. Here is the wiring detals for the CM3000 CPU that you have:
Also for the impact sensor you can install that on a large loom of wires or a flat part of the underdash and the antenna you will have to mount on the windshield below or around the rear view mirror. If your car has the tint on the windshield, make sure that it's below the tint by about an inch . The tint reduces range.

Thanks for the reply.
Also could anyone tell me what Anti-Jacking, Dome Light Supervision, Dome Light Factory Rearm, and Horn Output are.
Thanks
2W900FMR-AS. Which setting is the most sensitive, 2 or 10. I can not get my shock sensor to go off. If i arm the system while in the car and then jiggle the sensor by hand and it goes off. It is mounted on a cluster of wires to the left of the steering column. Does this sound right? Is there anywhere else to mount it. I would like it to go off if someone opens a door into my car. Is that possible? Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Once you read the manual you will understand each of these.

Most sensitive is 10. You have to wait about 15 seconds before the alarm sets itself. Also if you want the doors to trigger the alarm system you have to attach one of the door trigger wires ( + or - ) to the door trigger wire.
