I just bought this car and the factory keyless remotes don't work.  No aftermarket alarm or anything installed.  I bought programming instructions off of eBay, but still no go.  New batteries in the remotes.  Where do I go from here?  Not to the dealer I hope....

How do I check the car-side receiver?  Thanks for any info!

Have you verified from the Build Sheet or Dealer that your car has Factory Keyless / Alarm??  Usually, the dealer can run your VIN number & tell you.  A lot of times Remotes are put in a vehicle at Auction or sale to make it look like it has Keyless..........

Crap, I never thought of that.....but, I bought the car from original owner (according to CarFax), plus it has a bunch of other options like auto climate control, etc., so unlikely it doesn't have keyless.

If it's loaded...you are probably right........
Have you tried ............DRIVERS SIDE:>>>>Roll down your window, ......Lock the Drivers door at the Panel Switch, Close door & wait approx 45 seconds.........Put your hand inside & Unlock Door with Slide Latch........Open Door & see if the Alarm triggers??  Turn Door Key Switch to turn off
