I just installed a Astra 777 alarm system. this vehicle has positive trigger door locks. I installed 2 relays for the locks as the alarm has negative door lock outputs. I connected the positive outputs from the relays to the BCM door lock wires. the locks work ok but now blows the 15amp fuse in the oem fuse block. was I wrong in wiring the relays into the BCM? should I connect the relays into the door lock switch wire at the door? I also have seen a wire kit that will change the alarm from negitive output to positive output. Thanks for any help that will lead me in the right direction.

I wire it at the Body BUSSED Electrical Center..Above the Emergency Brake.

Just Meter first

I have un-pluged the alarm system and disconnected the wires that I connected to the BCM lock wires but is still blowing the OEM door lock fuse. Do you think I fried the body control module? I can still hear the oem relays click when i push the door lock switch or the factory lock remote. Thanks for your reply.

connect the factory wires back together. if the problem persists then you fried your bcm.
