360 Deg Digital Tilt Sensor

posted_image

Anyone have experience with this sensor? From the description, it sounds ideal, but sometimes theory and reality remain apart-
Sounds like it uses a solid state accelerometer like used in those acceleration timers to sense gravity and determine orientation, and should be able to reset automatically to any given position.
I've been wondering why this hasn't been developed long ago, but maybe it has; just that I never heard about it.

Do the Clifford one work well enough that they don't figure into all the posts I've seen regarding falsing? Is the digital version not regularly used by most installers due to cost?
