Was wondering if anyone know's where the ing sense for the keyless entry is not sure if older years do this but when the key is on the remote won't work. Thanks John

i believe so, both my 1999 and 2004 4runners keyless entry dosent work after the engine is on. i would like to find this wire too

The 2005 Tacoma keyless doesn't work with the engine running.

i just did an 05 Tacoma yesterday afternoon, i added keyless w/ the RS i installed and it works fine with the vehicle running....

I was talking about the factory keyless entry when the truck is running the remotes do not work and i was wondering if anyone knows where the keyless entry picks up the ign sense from so i could cut it and use my remotes when the truck is running. John -------------

I don't get it, why would you want to carry the factory remotes......(if you have the remote start remotes?)

Breakout the DMM and start probing for switched ignition. Find this and wire in a relay to interupt this connection when ignition is on.
