I have on 03 silverado with a viper 791xv with a 456g databus interface.

During the disarm sequence of the factory alarm the perimeter lighting is activated....daytime running lights, backup lights, lights under the rearview mirrors and the domelights.

When I arm the viper alarmwith the 456g the parking and dome lights flash once and the doors are locked.

When I disarm the viper alarm there is no flash or perimeter lighting.

Should the 456 control the perimeter lights as well? Or is there something else i should be doing to keep them active?

Thanks

I couldnt find info for "456G" only "456A, B, L, 455G, or 457G" If the data-buss interface is working correctly it will arm and disarm the factory alarm when you arm or disarm the 791xv. There could be a few things wrong. Most likely you need to re-teach the interface to the truck or the interface is bad.
