I have a 02 cavalier with an automatic trans., and I'm installing the airwolf 20099 Alarm/starter and I can't find the "negative coil of the tach" Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have all of the other wires hooked up but the unit will not operate unless the tach wire or the voltage wire is hooked up and the kit i bought didnt come with the white voltage wire. Thanks

PURPLE / white.........The engine harness is found next to the battery, below the radiator hose, just above the transaxle.
Also can go to the ignition control module and use white or orange.  ICM is located by tracing the spark plug wire back....

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

on the drivers side of the valve cover is a connector, you can use either white or orange in that plug.

Ok i used the white wire on the ICM and the alarm/remote start would recognize it and say its programmed but when it tried to start it it wouldnt stay running. I also tried the orange and it did the same thing. It would crank perfectly but the engine acted like it wasnt getting gas.  Also someone told me I might need a by-pass module for this car because it has a chip in the key, but my key doesnt have a chip because when i made duplicates of it i didnt have to get a special one. Any suggestions?
