did u try to pull the batt out of the remote?  also try unpluging the ant......if neither of these work...u may have blown the main 13 amp fuse on the red 12v+ wire off the brain.........also is it the same remote that came with the brain or is it different?

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

no i didnt try disconnecting the battery cause the battery was basically dead before i started it which caused this. yes i tried taking the batteries out of both remotes and it didnt change anything. i didnt try unplugging the antenna but i can try that.

could my antenna be bad? i put a charger on the battery and used that to give it a little bump. but someone told me the charger might have blown the receiver and i might need a new antenna. is this possible?

well after doing more searching on the forum, i found out all i had to do was disconnect the wires to the brain for about 10 min. and plug it back in.  everything works fine now. I LOVE THIS SITE!!!
