Hi everyone,

I'd appreciate some help with this one from all you guys that can do this stuff with your eyes closed...

I'm installing DEI 530T window modules in my Ram. I've done the front two windows so far. I started with the driver side and wired the proper connections in at the switch (cut the wires at the switch and connected the module switch and motor side). 1 touch operation up and down works perfectly for the driver window. I ran wires to the passenger side, repeated the correct wiring and tried the passenger window from the driver's switch - no problem - 1 touch up and down. Then, I tried from the passenger switch - no one touch up/down!! I have 14 gauge wires running from the switches to the module. I also noticed when operating the window from the passenger side that the relay inside the 530T does not click like usual.

Any suggestions wiring gurus??

Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

The one touch window operates from the drivers side. It will not operate from both switches. The 530 T works off of resistance.  In stead of running the wires to each individule door you should be able to grab the drivers window from the switch and the other 3 from the drivers kick panel. Less wires to run, also I know it can be a pain to run the wires throug the factory dodge grommets.

I had it working from all the switches in my trailblazer. Same setup, 4 wires running to each window...

I grabbed the wires that were coming from the drivers master switch at the passenger side and it worked (the first thing I tried). I then realized that i wasn't grabbing the wires at the motor on the passenger side. So i tried those and now the relay clicks in the 530t, but the pass window does not respond at either switch.. Ideas?
