Which Databus module should I use?

I have a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with diesel. I have a Bulldog Security Pro Series 500 2 way remote/alarm on the way. My questions is, which databus module should I get? I have done several searches and have read many, many posts. But, now Iam basically just confused as to which module is the best for my truck. I have been looking at the DEI 457G, the GMDL-BP, and the GMDAA. I also want to be able to hook my heated seats up to the remote starter, will I need a separate module for this? Also, Bulldog sells a vehicle specific T harness that connects in on the steering column, does this sound like something I should get? Iam trying to keep from splicing into as few wires as humanly possible.

the GMDAA will work the heated seats on low but only if the engine temp at the time of remote starting is below 0 degrees C. you just have to tap into a wire at the OBD II connector and you get door locks, factory alarm control, heated seats, and optional dome light supervision.

As far as the T-harness goes, this is something that I personally would not purchase or use because I solder all my own connections. For someone that doesn't do this for a living, the T-harness is a great asset and can save time and headeaches in the end. Personally though, it's not a cost effective way to do installations for a shop that has to carry all the available T-harnesses for all the vehicles.

Have you guys used the Crimestopper GM SL? It also looks like a viable option for me. I  guess when it comes down to it, all of these modules are more or less the same. As far as the heated seats go, is there a way to change the low temp setting on the module? I live in South Carolina, so the temp very rarely gets to 0 degrees C. Thanks.

This sounds like a great module, unfortunately it isnt available for my truck. The Crimestopper GM SL as seen here https://support.fortinautoradio.com/bypasskits/bypasskit.php?bypasskitid=44 , is the one that I was referring to. I can get a GMDL-BP for under $40.00, does anyone know if this module will do the seats? According to the website https://www.bypasskit.com/product.aspx?prodid=GMDL-BP it does seat memory and mirror memory. But does not mention the seat heater or defroster. Thanks.
