Im installing a remote starter and alarm combo, when i cut the starter wire in half i put switch side of relay on 87a, and starter side on 30, ignition on 86 and neg input on 85. where do i put the starter wire form the remote starter unit. on with side of the relay. please help

SPDT Relay
1 or 2 amp Diode across PIN 86 & PIN 85 with stripe facing PIN 86

Cut Starter wire in half:

PIN 86 & 30 = Ignition switch half of cut wire
PIN 87a = Starter side of cut wire
PIN 85 = Negative Output from Alarm while Armed
