Heres the deal, workin on an 05 f150, installing window roll up module. heres the problem, if i roll the windows down, turn the ignition off, exit the vehicle, shut the door and lock the system, the windows will not roll up, however, if i wait 10-15 after the ignition has been turned off, everything works like it should and the windows roll up. any ideas why the windows wont roll up right after the ignition is turned off, vrs. waiting a few more seconds and everything works properly????
stumped in illinois....

Mike did you accidentally grab ignition power for the modules instead of constant ? ------------- Jeff

i was using a remote starter that didnt have any sort of armed output, so i diode isolated off of my neg. lock output to a pulse timer relay to provide a couple second ground output to my window module for roll up. however with the ignition controlled locks, and automatic unlock features turned on with the remote starter it was messing up the pulse timer relay, so after i turned those features off of the remote starter every thing worked perfectly. it was a monday on top of it all, go figure.
