I am in the process of installing a 791XV in my 03 Silverado and have a question. Everything is going just fine, but I do have a question....

I have been testing sensors and wanted to reset my LED and nuissance prevention....Can I do that if the remote start stuff has not yet been installed? What does the alarm use to see the ignition switch?

yellow wire in the ribbon cable going to the external relay pack, and it gets it's signal from the pink wire in the relay pack.
