I currently have a 99' Grand Am with no remote and a newer remote (for 00'-03' I believe) which I got free. Im not sure it will work but was wondering how I would go about programing a remote for a GM either way.

Any help/advise is apreciated

it says that you will need a diagnostics tool to program the 1999 key FOB.
