just put an Ultrastart  remote start / keyless / alarm on a 1999 Expedition and i'm havin a problem with the locks. Pressing Lock gets a confirm chirp, but no locking, pressing Unlock does a bit of "machine-gun" unlocking (about 4 or 5 pulses).  Also have a question on the Pats system. For the bypasses that dont need a spare key, do you have to use TWO real keys before you program the bypass, ore will one work?  Oh, also.... it's a two way remote and the "ignition on" indicator remains on.  Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I will be unable to respond to any questions until about 4pm EST.

did you use relays to supply a true ground?

most bypass modules for newer Fords require you have 2 keys, just like the Chyslers, unless you use a data module....

Your UltraStart may not have enough GROUND Output  to Lock & Unlock.
You may have to use Relays

Power LockPINK / YELLOWPASSENGER KICK
Power UnlockPINK/L GREENPANEL
Negative Pulse Door Locks

Ah.... no, i didnt use relays. I'll try that. Just in case that doesn't work, any other possibilities? (just wanna get it solved in one shot so the customer doesnt have to keep coming back).

i had this problem when i installed my Code Alarm on my 2000 expedition.  The problem was the double-pulse lock setting.  I set it to single, no more problems
