Hi everyone. Hope I can find some help to this problem I've been having.

Had combo alarm/remote starter installed. Everything worked fine for the first few hours.

Then one morning I remote started my car ('99 Hyundai Sonata/V6) and starter remains engaged in flywheel even after engine has started. Starter then disengages and re-engages after 3-4 seconds. It does this this 3 times then engine shuts off.

What should I be looking for/at? Thanks in advance.

Relearn the Tach signal. Check the ground wire on the remote stater / alarm unit and make sure it grounded securely.
