Probably because more starters get done in 3 Canadian provinces in 3 months than the entire US all year....

So, I guess you haven't been through a Manitoba or Saskatchewan winter then......
Remote start is a don't even think twice purchase for most cars sold in our area....

although Gus is right... i would tend to suspect it's more of a liability issue...... we dont sue everyone and their grandmothers up here to the same degree...... the potential liability of something going wrong is still there and i suspect DEI doesnt need to lose their business through a few dozen lawsuits in the US.....

Does anyone have any contacts that might be interested in selling me a couple of these units. I contacted DEI in the UK (i am a registered dealer) but they can't help. Any information is much appreciated.

I have 2 left in stock, they are $40 CAD each.
I don't want to know what they'd end up costing once shipping and duty and what not's are factored in. But that gives you an idea. ------------- Shaughn Murley

Could you find out how much the shippping will be? I can see it being more than $10-$20 CAD. Duty will be 17.5% when it gets to the UK.
Many Thanks
