When are they on? Only with remote start? Or even when you start the car with the key? Have you checked fuses? Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery?

try turning the ignition on and disconnecting the positive battery cable for about 10 minutes, leaving the key opn the whole time. This will usually reset the warning lights. If there is a problem, the lights will come back on. If there is no problem, they will stay off. Also, I think there is a second starter wire that needs power during remote start. check that too.

check engine light and VSC (vehicle stability control) light dont come on initially with the remote start or w/ key start. These lights come on 10-15 minutes after vehicle has traveled down the road, after being started with the key or the r/s.
