I am installing a remote starter in my 89 corolla it is carborated and my remote starter needs a tach wire i dont know what wire to connect it to, thanks.

I think the tach is black, at the igniter. I am pretty sure thats where it is on an 89, but be sure to test it first.

im not to sure where to look for the ignitor or what it evn looks like..

Note Some Models Are Carburated.

The d plug under the hood will work too. you can put a pin in the IG- spot and do it that way, or just grab the wires in the harness going to the d plug and look for the only black one.
